About the Material
A central component of the kitchen, the countertop plays a key role in both functionality and everyday experience. Our countertops are crafted from engineered quartz, a material widely valued for its durability, consistency, and refined appearance.
Quartz surfaces are highly resistant to scratches and wear, making them well suited to the demands of daily kitchen use. The non-porous structure prevents liquids and pigments from penetrating the surface, helping the countertop remain resistant to stains and discoloration over time.
In addition to its durability, quartz is naturally hygienic. Its dense composition resists bacteria growth and makes it suitable for food preparation areas. The material is also resistant to acids and common household substances, allowing it to maintain both performance and appearance even with frequent use.
Material Notes
Engineered quartz offers a balance of strength and practicality for modern kitchens. Its non-porous structure prevents moisture absorption, making it easy to maintain and suitable for high-use surfaces.
While quartz is highly durable, direct exposure to extreme heat should be avoided. We recommend using trivets or heat pads when placing hot cookware on the surface. As with most premium surfaces, using cutting boards is also recommended to maintain the countertop’s finish.
Care and Maintenance
Quartz countertops are easy to care for in everyday use. For routine cleaning, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth and warm water.
For grease or food residue, a mild household detergent can be used. Due to its stain-resistant surface, most spills can be easily removed without leaving marks.
Regular cleaning will keep the surface looking fresh and maintain its natural finish for years to come.
Antibacterial
The pore-free surface prevents stains and inhibits bacteria and germs from multiplying.
Stain-Free
With a water absorption rate below 0.03%, spills like wine, coffee, or soy sauce are easy to clean.
Durable
Rated 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, it resists scratches from most materials except rare gems.
Impact-Resistant
Contains a small amount of resin for resilience, making it 8–10 times stronger than natural stone or ceramic surfaces.
Acid & Alkaline-Proof
Naturally resistant to acids and alkalines, allowing safe use of most household cleaners.
